TopoR can displace components on a routed board
One the unique features of TopoR is its capability to move components on the routed board while preserving the connections topology. Geometry and positioning of components are automatically calculated to comply with the new components position. Movement of components, vias and wire branching is used to decrease wires length, provide the utmost clearance space which should be not less than required (to eliminate the narrow spaces). Movement can be performed both manually and automatically, and the most effective wires shape is defined immediately.
Smart BGA component routing
Due to absence of preferred routing directions in layers and deep level of optimization TopoR provides quality routing of contemporary BGA components, which is traditionally a very difficult problem for other routers.
Interface with CAD Systems
TopoR supports standard Specctra DSN/SES interface that most CAD systems have. Also TopoR can import/export P-CAD and PADS ASCII formats.
Design Rule Check
TopoR checks minimum and optimal clearances between traces, pads and vias on each stage of the design work. You can move/rotate components and edit traces based on DRC results.
Shape-based copper pour
Powerful copper pour system can help to reduce your manufacturing costs by minimizing the amount of etching solution required. To use it, all you have to do is insert a copper
area on your board and any pad or trace inside the selected area will be automatically surrounded with a gap of the desired size.
Manufacturing output formats
TopoR provides support for a number of different manufacturing output formats. You can produce DXF, N/C Drill files for numerically controlled (N.C.) drilling machines and RS-274X Gerber files for sending to board manufacturers.
